Tuesday, 15 October 2013

Michel Robert. Photo by Jenny Abrahamsson.Michel Robert will retire from competing at the top level of the sport after a 44 year long international career. According to studforlife.com Michel states in a press release that it is a decision that has matured over some time, and that he wants to experience something different. To improve the lives of horses and riders is something that motivates Michel more than ever, and he wishes to focus on this through internships, his website Horse Academy and his books.

"Of course I will continue to ride, my desire to improve and educate horses is still as deep as it has been all my life - my passion remains intact," Robert says in the press release.

It is still not decided what will happen with Robert's rides Oh d'Eole, Nénuphar Jac, Catapulte or Quirha de P'Aime.
