AD Norson and Alvaro Miranda won the Queen's Cup of Barcelona! Photo by Jenny Abrahamsson.Click here for the results.

Alvaro Miranda and AD Norson went all the way in the “Copa de S.M. la reina Trofeo Longines” in Barcelona. It was a difficult class and out of the 52 starters only five managed to ride clear rounds. In comparison twelve riders were eliminated. More than half of the riders in the class had more than eight faults.

With five riders in the jump-off, they all really wanted to win and gave their all. First out was Taizo Sugitani with Avenzio who stayed clear and put pressure on the rest of the riders with the time 37.47. Leon Thijssen with the Numero Uno-stallion Tyson was next to go, but he had to hear a pole fall in the middle of the course. Third out was the winner Alvaro Miranda who managed to be more than a second faster than Taizo.

Peder Fredricson and H&M Arctic Aurora Borealis really headed off in the beginning, but two poles fell on their way. Last to go was the winner from the last class; Pedro Veniss. This time the Brazilian rider went in to the ring with Cornet DÁmour.  He bettered  Miranda's time, but a pole fell on the last line.
