Mixed photos from Gothenburg Horse Show - part two

Thursday, 06 March 2014

Little did they know... Nicola Philippaerts - who went on to win the World Cup - with his father Ludo. All photos by Jenny Abrahamsson.

He has now reached 17, but showed no sign of his age in Gothenburg. With Marcus Ehning Plot Blue was second in the World Cup, securing an overall win for Marcus in the Western European league.
Oh d'Eole jumps great under Kevin Staut. Unfortunately the mare had one down both in the Grand Prix and in the World Cup.
Linda Heed giving Bee Wonderful a big hug.
Luciana Diniz and Cassius ready to go.
Maikel van der Vleuten and Edwina Tops-Alexander discussing the course for the World Cup.
We love this horse; Amai with Michael Whitaker in the saddle.
Henrik von Eckermann's groom Nanna with Savita.
Nicola Philippaerts on his relatively new ride Casana, who won Sunday's speed class.
Peder Fredricson and H&M Sibon did a great first round in the Grand Prix to move on to the jump-off, were one pole fell.
We have said it before and we will say it again: Ryan des Hayettes is something very special, and a horse we expect to see a lot more of in the future.
Hansi's groom Stefan with the stunning Colore.
 Maikel van der Vleuten.
 Marcus Ehning and Nicole Persson.
