More Kühner in Magna Racino, while Tuganov takes a win in Oliva

Photo by © Sibil Sleijko.Max Kühner continued to dominate in Magna Racino yesterday, as he won the Silver Tour Final on Clooney 35 (by Cardento). The Gold Tour-winning couple from Thursday and Friday had the fastest of nine second clear rounds in the 1.35 class with a time of 31.35 seconds – leaving Polish rider Zuzanna Gowin on Emperio Van't Roosakker (by Nabab de Reve) to second at 31.79. Toth Laszlo from Hungary ended third on Reflex (by Charisma II).

In Oliva, the biggest class was won by Vladimir Tuganov on Bluebuster (by Mr. Blue). The chestnut gelding has had some great results under Luciana Diniz, and is now continuing with more success under the Russian rider. There were no less than 22 clears in the 1.45 Gold Tour, with Swedish rider Linda Heed ending second on Chausette Polo (by Landlord 849) – over a second behind Tuganov. Marie Pelegrin Etter ended third with Admirable (by A Jungle Prince).

At the Arctic Equestrian Games in Norway, the main class was won by home rider Malin Hansen. Aboard the lovely stallion Ulrich Z (by Darco), the Norwegian rider took home the 1.40 Queen and King Final – after first winning the 1.40 Queen’s section. Mike Patric Leichle won the King’s section, but lost the battle in the Queens against Kings-jump-off.
