Mylord Carthago’s half brother to Penelope Leprevost

Tuesday, 04 October 2011

Penelope and Mylord Carthago. Photo by Jenny Abrahamsson.Penelope Leprevost has a new ride in the six year old BWP stallion Farfelu de Muze (Quel Hero de Muze x Jalisco B). The half brother of Penelope’s top horse Mylord Carthago (Carthago Z x Jalisco B) - both are out of the mare Fragance de Chalus - is approved in the AES studbook, and as a four year old he was crowned with the Elite title at the Belgian Championship.

As the horse turns seven next year, its owner Johan Bijloos wanted to give the stallion a chance to prove if it's got what it takes to make it at top level. Bijloos stated that wether Farfelu de Muze will be as good as Mylord Carthago or not is difficult to predict. “It’s only a horse and it’s a long way to go, but we wanted to give him a chance.”
