For the 41 participating couples, it was not just about points for the Longines world ranking but also the chance to qualify for the World Equestrian Games in Normandy and win a brand new Opel Cascada Cosmo. In the end it was the 18 year old Natalia Belova based for several years in Magna Racino, who could celebrate the biggest success of her career in the saddle of her ten year old Holsteiner stallion Cosimo (Chello I x Sacramento Son). They pair went clear in both rounds and won with time of 48.07 in the jump-off.

"I had not planned a win, and just wanted to ride just a quiet round. I want to thank all who support me! Now I have a good reason to make the driver's license," the young rider stated after her win.

Runner-up was Italy's Fabio Brotto on R-Gitana (Looping x Grandeur), also he clear in the jump-off with a time of 51.16 seconds. Then followed Poland's Lukasz Wasilewski on Wavantos Vd Renvillehoeve (Lux x Wellington) with one penalty.
