At the Gucci Masters Beezie Madden did her second 5* show on Simon (Mr Blue x Polydox), who looked really comfortable with Beezie and jumped amazing throughout the weekend. The pair was seventh in the Gucci by Gucci Challenge on Saturday. Jeroen Dubbeldam rode his first big show on BMC Utascha SFN in Paris – Eric van der Vleuten’s former ride. They had one time penalty in the 1.45 on Thursday, but were clear and placed on Saturday. Nifrane de Kreisker (Carnute x Papillon Rouge) was also out jumping with her new rider Aleksander Onishchenko.

In Salzburg Steve Guerdat rode his new mare Nasa (Cumano x Prince d’Elle), previously ridden by Niels Bruynseels and purchased for Steve about a month ago. The pair was placed in the 1.45 on Thursday, and had four faults in the 1.55 on Saturday.
