New deadline for organizing candidates for the WEG 2018

Tuesday, 23 July 2013

The FEI is still looking for an organizer for the World Equestrian Games in 2018. The new deadline for candidates is set for the 30th of September. From the beginning there were six countries that registered for the WEG 2018, but they fell away one by one and in the end it was only Canada that had a well build plan. For long it looked like Bromont would host the games in 2018 but lack of financial support made the FEI decide to re-open the bidding process.
