New horse for Billy Twomey

Tuesday, 06 December 2011

Billy Twomey has a new top horse at his stable. Here with Tinka's Serenade. Photo by Jenny Abrahamsson/worldofshowjumping.Billy Twomey has a new ride at his stable – the nine year old grey KWPN gelding Tin Tin (Cavalier x Animo). Tin Tin has been seen under the British rider Graham Lovegrove the last couple of years, with several good results from different 2* and 3* shows.

It is Twomey’s main sponsor and owner Sue Davis who has purchased the horse as an addition to his string. Twomey’s top horse Tinka’s Serenade is now 14 years old, and with the tight schedule in the show jumping circuit most riders need more horses to choose from to make it there.

Billy has stated that Tin Tin is a horse with all the qualities to evolve at the highest level, and to help him be among the best. Twomey will most probably start competing Tin Tin at the show in Basel the second weekend of January.
