New horse for John Whitaker

Friday, 06 January 2012

John Whitaker has a new Burggraaf-ride; Viscount. Photo by Jenny Abrahamsson.John Whitaker has a new ride in the 10 year old Viscount (Burggraaf x Hearbreaker). The 10 year old has up until now been competed be his owner Anne Kenes. To WoSJ Kenes says; “John sat on Viscount as a six year old, but at that stage he was just too young. He is a horse with unlimited scope, but at the same time very sensitive to ride with enough blood. I decided to try to bring him on slowly as good as I could.”

A couple of weeks ago Kenes got in touch with Whitaker to ask if he remembered the horse, and he did. “I just want to give this horse a fair chance, and John was my first choice,” Kenes says. Kenes will stay on as owner of the horse – who actually belonged to her late father. John will take the horse to the Sunshine Tour to get to know him.
