New horse for Shane Breen

Wednesday, 25 January 2012

Shane Breen has a new ride in Figo de Muze, now renamed to Golden Hawk. Photo by Jenny Abrahamsson. The stallion Figo de Muze (Vigo d'Arsouilles x Chin Chin) will in the future be seen under the Irish rider Shane Breen, who has bought the horse together with Old Lodge Stud. Figo de Muze´s mother Ta Belle van Sombeke, was also mother to the stallion A Pikachu de Muze.

A Pikachu de Muze was very promising and competed with Billy Twomey under the name Pikap until he was eight, when Billy and Pikap had a terrible accident at a CSI3* show in Belgium in April 2008 which lead to the stallion's sad death.

Figo de Muze was previously ridden by Jos Lansink, and is now renamed to Golden Hawk. "One of the most exciting horses that I have ever sat on" Shane Breen tells horseandhound.co.uk about the horse.
