New riders for Dona Evita & Arizona Pie

Friday, 25 November 2011

Dona Evita has a new rider - here she is with Laura Kraut in Hamburg this summer. Photo by Jenny Abrahamsson.Dona Evita & Arizona Pie – previously ridden by Laura Kraut and Lauren Hough respectively – have new riders. The 10 year old Acordplus-stallion Arizona Pie’s new rider is Mohamed Ghanim Al Hajri from the United Arab Emirates, and the horse now carries the prefix ‘Al Hawajer’. Arizona Pie has good placings at top international level with Hough. Dona Evita – an eight year old by Darco sold from Eric van der Vleuten to Laura Kraut in 2010 – is now ridden by HRH Prince Abdullah Bin Metab Al Saud from Saudi Arabia. The BWP-mare won a 5*-class in Dublin this summer with Kraut, and has several international placings.

Unlike Arizona Pie, Dona Evita is not yet listed with a new owner but has already competed with her new rider at international shows in Rabat & El Jadida. Both horses are competing in Abu Dhabi with their new riders.
