Niack de l’Abbaye to Onishchenko

Friday, 20 May 2011

Niack de l'Abbaye and James Paterson Robinson. Photo by Jenny Abrahamsson. The SF-stallion Niack de l’Abbaye (Diamant de Semilly x Rocky du Carel) has according to reports from studforlife.com been purchased by Aleksander Onishchenko. The Ukrainian rider has bought several top horses over the last months. Niack de l’Abbaye will take part at this weekend’s 3* show in Pforzheim, Germany, under his new rider.

The 10 year old stallion has previously been competed by James Paterson Robinson, and the pair was part of the Australian team at the WEG in Kentucky last autumn.

From what WoSJ knows Onishchenko tried the horse last Thursday and Niack arrived at his new owner on Tuesday. The sale means that another top horse has been lost for the Australian team; both Asleigh Drossel Dan and Vivant van de Heffinck has been sold over the past year.
