Finnish rider Nina Fagerström will move to Canada, after being based at Haras de Beufour in Normandy. Nina moved to Haras de Beufour in May 2013, and during the summer she was successful with Quebracho Semilly that later on was sold to Alexander Onischenko.
Nina and her partner Alexander Rohling will first go to the Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington for three months, where Nina will compete with their three horses during the festival. After WEF the couple moves to Canada and Alexander's barn. Alexander is Canadian, but has been spending the last six years in Europe.
Nina will also get the ride on Delgado van't Neerhof (Nagano x Darco) that previously has been ridden by Jean-Nicholas Goyette.
"We will focus on the sport and I'm really excited about our horses - they are great. We will continue to do our business from there; we are close to our clients and still have the contacts in Europe. There are great shows in Canada and I'm looking forward to be showing there!" Nina says to World of Showjumping.
