No luck for Rolf-Göran Bengtsson – out again with injury

Tuesday, 21 January 2014

Rolf-Göran Bengtsson with Quintero Ask in Leipzig. Photo by Jenny Abrahamsson.

After making a fantastic comeback in Basel and Leipzig following his forced injury break at the end of 2013, Rolf-Göran Bengtsson is yet again forced to rest. During the warm-up ahead of the World Cup in Leipzig – where Rolf ended 7th – he was yet again in pain, and a visit to the doctor has revealed that the thigh injury near the groin has reappeared, although not in the exact same place as before. To WoSJ, Rolf says that he will be out for six-eight weeks – something he of course is very upset about considering the great form his horses have shown.

We wish Rolf a speedy recovery!
