No shot at the Olympics for McVean

Back in May it was known that McVean was given the ride on Wavantos VD Renvillehoeve (Lux Z x Wellington), and that she would try to qualify for the Olympics at the CHIO show in Aachen. The 25 year old from New Zealand recently returned to Europe, but as Wavantos VD Renvillehoeve had not yet arrived at the Dutch stable McVean felt that time was running out.

To horsetalk.co.nz Katie McVean says; "It was going to be tight going into Aachen as it was, but with the horse not yet there it just seemed to be getting tougher and tougher." McVean will now focus on producing young horses.
