Photo by Jenny Abrahamsson. At 17 years of age Marcus Ehning's success horse Noltes Küchengirl will be retired from the sport. She has won 11 international Grand Prix classes, among them the Aachen, La Baule and Zürich Grand Prixs. In 2010 she won the Rolex FEI World Cup Final in Geneva alongside Plot Plue. Noltes Küchengirl has also been on winning Nations Cup teams in Rotterdam, Aachen and twice in La Baule. Another big win came when she ended on top in the Grand Prix in Rio de Janeiro, and gave Marcus the overall win in the Global Champions Tour.

The mare will stay in Ehning's stable, and will be put in foal in the hope to bring new super showjumpers to the world.
