The winner will be announced at the British Showjumping Awards Ball at the end of October.

Ben Maher and Tripple X III were on the British team that won bronze at the Europeans. British Showjumping writes on their website that the pair has shown that they have got what it takes to get to the top. At only nine year old Tripple X III is enjoying his first season at top international level and the combination have proved themselves as ones to watch as it has progressed.

Nick Skelton and Carlo became both team and individual bronze medalists at the European Championships. British Showjumping writes that this combination has shown what a true class act they are and how they are now feared by all on the international circuit. Nick and Carlo were members of five FEI Nation Cups, of which the team brought home two seconds along with a first place podium finish following their outstanding triple clear performance in Dublin.

Robert Smith and Talan are by British Showjumping described as an outstanding and ‘class’ combination who have proved their worth this year. Jumping on five FEI Nation Cups including Dublin where they played a key part in assuring Great Britain’s first place success, the combination have also won the Ascona Grand Prix along with coming second in the world famous King George V Gold Cup.
