Old stars still shine in Leipzig

Wednesday, 22 January 2014

Plenty of old stars were out and about jumping this weekend in Leipzig. One of the older horses still going strong was the 17 year old Noltes Küchengirl who made it to the jump-off in the Championat on Saturday after a wonderful first clear round with Marcus Ehning. All photos by Jenny Abrahamsson.

The 17 year old Tinka's Serenade looked fresh and happy jumping clear in the first round of the World Cup on Sunday to finish 8th. Despite being 16 years old, Mouse is still one of the fastest horses on the circuit with Daniel Deusser in the saddle. The 18 year old L'Espoir jumped a great clear first round with Geir Gulliksen in Saturday's Championat of Leipzig! Marco Kutscher's Cash is by now 18 years old, but still out jumping at top level.  Seventh in the World Cup on Sunday jumping super; the 16 year old Quintero Ask with Rolf-Göran Bengtsson.
