Paul Schockemöhle. P.S.I., which is one of the world's largest stallion stations, sales yards and event organisers, have pledged to sponsor the showjumping competitions at the European Championships – hence the official name: P.S.I. FEI European Jumping Championships.
– Bo Kristoffersen and I are friends, and when we talked during the CHIO Aachen, he asked if P.S.I. might be interested in being a title sponsor for the show jumping at the European Championships in Herning, and since we are keen to support the EC, we said yes, Paul Schockemöhle says and continues; – P.S.I. is a business which produces both dressage and jumping horses, and the Europeans is an excellent opportunity for us to show people what we do.
German P.S.I. - Performance Sales International - consists of two of the world's biggest sales yards and is behind the large and renowned P.S.I. auctions, where some of the world's best horses are sold. P.S.I. includes Hof Kasselmann, Paul Schockemöhle, Stud Lewitz, P.S.I. Auctions as well as P.S.I. Events which is behind some of the biggest international equestrian events in both dressage and showjumping.
– P.S.I. has a complete approach to equestrian sport with breeding, training and selling horses as well as equestrian events. All elements are integrated and interdependent, says Betina Schöckemohle from P.S.I, and she sees it as a natural part of the whole of P.S.I. to be sponsor at the European Championships.
– And it is quite funny that Paul himself 30 years ago won the gold medal at the European Championship in showjumping for the second time in a row, and he now returns 30 years later as the title sponsor, Betina concludes. Paul ads that he won the European Championship in show jumping three consecutive years - 1981, 1983 and 1985.
– We are very happy and proud that P.S.I. has agreed to be the title sponsor of the showjumping championship. It is an incredibly exciting sponsor who has a good knowledge of the sport, says a content Bo Kristoffersen from European-Herning.
