Tuesday, 17 September 2013

Janika Sprunger and Palloubet d'Halong in Aachen. Photo by Jenny Abrahamsson. After a lot of speculation, Janika Sprunger has now confirmed to studforlife.com that her top horse Palloubet d’Halong has been sold to Edwina Tops-Alexander. To studforlife.com Sprunger says that Palloubet is still in her stable, but that he is expected to leave today. The ten year old gelding by Baluobet du Rouet x Muguet du Manoir has been with the Swiss rider since he was six, and has developed into one of the world’s best horses. The highlight of the pair’s career is probably the second place in the Rolex Grand Prix of Aachen earlier this year. The two were also double clear in the Nations Cup in La Baule and Rotterdam for Switzerland – as well as ending 7th individually at the European Championships in Herning in August.
