Patrice Delaveau tops Thursday's biggest class in Doha

Patrice Delaveau keeps on winning; this time on Carinjo HDC in Doha. Photo by Stefano Grasso/Longines Global Champions Tour.Patrice Delaveau and Carinjo HDC (Cascavelle X Landgraf I) took home the biggest win in Doha today, winning the 1.55 class. The French rider was the fastest of the fourteen riders in the jump-off, and as the last to go he shaved off 0.28 seconds on runner-up Harrie Smolders’ time on Regina Z (Rex Z x savoy Hannover). Third went to Constant van Paesschen riding Citizenguard Rioso van de Kape (Idem D Azur x Glennhidge).

The 1.45 class went to Juan Carlos Garcia aboard Paulin (Lucky Light x Ladinos). The Italian rider beat Roger Yves Bost on Castle Forbes Cosma (Couleur-Rubin x Peter Pan) who ended second, and Johannes Ehning who ended third on Cayenne (Cornet Obolensky x Gonfaron).
