Leprevost had one of eleven clears in the first round, but yet again proved how extremely dangerous she is against the clock when she crossed the finish line on a time of 38.37 seconds. In second came another French rider; Marie Hecart riding Myself de Breve (Quidam de Revel x Grand Veneur) to a time of 39.02 seconds. Third was Olivier Philippaerts on Armstrong van de Kapel (Quasimodo Z  x Farn) also he double clear in a time of 39.33.

The traditional La Baule Derby saw two home riders on top, as Michel Hecart won on Nokia de Brekka (Quick Star x Apache d'Adriers) and Roger Yves Bost ended second on Nikyta d'Elle (Richebourg x Papillon Rouge). No riders were clear around the derby track, and Hecart and Bost were the best on four faults – although Hecart was by far the fastest with his time of 143.92 compared to Bosty's 159.23. Third went to the fastest rider on eight faults, Luca Maria Moneta on Jesus de la Commune (Diamant de Semilly Sf x Rocky du Carel).

Two Brazilian riders were the best in the 1.45 class, as Pedro Veniss on Amemoi O Sandor (Elan de la Cour) won ahead of Rodrigo Pessoa on Levade 35 (Levisto x Kolibri). In third came home rider Timothee Anciaume on Olympique Libellule (Jarnac x Papillon Rouge).
