Peppermill out with injury

Friday, 16 December 2011

Peppermill with John in Munchen. Photo by Jenny Abrahamsson/worldofshowjumping.com.John Whitaker’s top horse Peppermill is out with a tendon injury. As it is expected that the 14 year old Burgraaf-stallion will be out for a year, the chances of John & Peppermill making it to the Olympics 2012 are very slim at this point. Peppermill recently won the four star Grand Prix in Munich, Germany, and looked to be in great form after returning to competition in June after nearly a year off due to injury. To Horse & Hound John says that he now will be aiming for the Olympics in London with the promising Arko-son Argento.
