Photos from a snowy Tuesday at Spruce Meadows - part one

Wednesday, 10 September 2014

Aragon Z, Terri, Caroline and Cornado II posing for a photo in the snow at Spruce Meadows. All photos by Jenny Abrahamsson.

Lais is helping out with the Lamaze/Foster horses this week.  One of several stables at Spruce Meadows. Linda Southern-Heathcott, the president of Spruce Meadows, couldn't thank her team and all the volunteers enough in her speech on Tuesday. And we totally understand that after seeing what an amazing job they did with removing the snow from the international arena.  Lots of the snow was removed by hand. The statue of the legendary Hickstead.  Waiting for the vet-check; Cornado II and Caroline. Nasa and Heidi. Our favorite Norman made it to Spruce Meadows! Or 'Meadows on the Snow' this time... One of several arenas. Daniel Deusser just finished with his ride. Caroline and Southwind VDL on their way to the vet-check. Hope to see this one full with water later this week. There are several places to wash the horses - and luckily under a roof. Beautiful details.
