Tuesday, 27 May 2014

Dougie Douglas is not a youngster anymore, but what a star! After being double clear in the Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup division 2 in Odense he won the Grand Prix on Sunday together with his rider Holly Gillott, and the interest for the nine year old gelding by Ard VDL Douglas exploded.  Angelica Augustsson with her new ride Snapchat - a horse she will aim for the World Equestrian Games in Normandy. The ten year old mare is by Carrygold x Sandro. Dirk Demeersman made his debut on the stallion Castelino van de Helle, a horse previously seen under Gerco Schröder and Niels Bruynseels. Janika Sprunger with the eight year old Geena van't Roosakker by Darco x Kannan. Sprunger has competed the mare since the beginning ofthe year, and this horse looks like a star in the making.  Niels Bruynseels has taken over the reins on Domingo, who was previously seen under Daniel Deusser. Victoria Gulliksen told WoSJ that they never had a horse in the stable as long as they have had the seven year old Stand by me. He was bought as a four year old and for sure looks promising for the future.
