Quotes after Münster Grand Prix

Sunday, 21 July 2013

Angelica Augustsson won in Münster. Photo by Jenny Abrahamsson. The winner Angelica Augustsson on her partner Mic Mac du Tillard; "Mic Mac du Tillard is a very special horse. She needs that I let her run a bit and if I try to control her too much she loses her jump. So I'm trying to guide her around the course without disturbing her too much. Then she is a very fast horse from the nature. Now I'm nominated for the European Championships in Herning and have two horses; Mic Mac du Tillard and S.I.E.C Livello. It is not decided who I will ride yet."

Runner-up Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum; "When you see Unbelievable he doesn't look like a horse for me since he is so big, but he is a super horse with a big heart. Then he is also careful and have a lot of scope. I'm starting to get him on my side and have the feeling that he will do everything for me. We are working on that now and he for sure is a horse for the future."

Carsten-Otto Nagel who was placed third; "I'm very happy with Corradina today. She is also a special horse and we always had to get used to each other. It is always things that I would like to improve, but with her that usually shows to be to the worse. I had a really good feeling in the jump-off, but with Angelica and Mic Mac in the lead I kind of gave up the hope of winning the class. If any other would be ahead I would have a chance, but today I knew that I could as best end up as second. Corradina is in a great shape now and we are good on our way to the Europeans in Herning."
