Colorit together with his rider and owner! Photo by Jenny Abrahamsson.David Will was more than happy with his win, and couldn't praise his fantastic Colorit enough. On the prize giving cermony David said; "For me he is the best horse in the world. He always does his best and I love him!"

At the press conference the 24 year old David, who is based with Dietmar Gugler, said: "For me it was a big surprise. It is a big step up to come here so I really didn't expect it! I have had Colorit since a little over one year - since last February. He is a great horse and he is really consistent. Last year we were placed in nearly every Grand Prix that we started."

Second placed Edwina Tops-Alexander explained this about her jump-off: "I thought the beginning was great and I had a great shot at the triple. David did six strides to the vertical where I did seven. But then I didn't get a good enough turn to the last and it was there that David won it."

Third placed Marcus Ehning was very pleased with the course: "It was a very clever course and very fair with the distances. The last fence was a bit of a joker, but still very fair. And with nine in the jump-off I think it was perfect." Marcus went on to say; "The start was very good, but I missed a bit in two turns. I maybe wasn't sharp enough. But I know that David is a very fast rider and he has beaten me many times - this wasn't the first!"

On the question about when David was sure about his win he said: "I wasn't sure until the very end, and with all these big names after me I really didn't think I would win. And when Edwina rode I was sure she was faster than me."

Both Edwina and Marcus got the question about which horses they will bring to the final in Gothenburg.

"My plan was never to take Itot to the final, my plan was to qualify for it and I did. I have a couple of 9 year olds that I jumped in the qualifications so my plan is to take them," Edwina said.

"I'm not 100% sure. I have had four horses in the World Cup. Plot, Copin and Noltes and it will be two out of these three that I will bring, but I decide after Paris," Marcus explained.
