Quotes from Geneva

"I am so lucky to have a horse like this!" Photo by Jenny Abrahamsson.Edwina on her ride today;  "I was planning to do seven strides from 1 to 2, but I didn't get it and had to do eight. Then I thought I had to get moving since I was already behind. Took a big risk to the last fence and I could have got it down but I had to take the risk. I know from the other day that Itot is in a great shape so I really didn't have anything to loose."

Sergio about today's round with Carlo; - "I was already qualified before I got here and I am very happy about it. It was a though round and not so many clears. I didn't ride good the last weekend in Paris with Carlo so I thought it was better not to take too many risks today. And Edwina is always fast so I am happy to be second."

Hansi on the course; - "It was a very difficult course, but it was good to jump. All the horses jumped really well. The course suited me very good so for me it was good. I just have to thank the organizer that I was allowed to ride, since I am here on a invitation. Thank you so much."

Janika on her horse Palloubet d'Halong; - "I am super happy with my horse - he is only 9 years old. He is still not so excperienced to go fast in the jump-off and neither am I. So we have to train and look at the superstars like Edwina who does this every time."

Edwina on her amazing partner Itot; " - Every victory is a great feeling and that is what you are aming for. This is my second World Cup win with Itot and it means a lot. With this horse it is even more special for me. It is great to se a horse at this age that is on top of his game. Now we have to make a plan for next year and it is really easy with him, it is just to find a good balance. He loves to go to shows and you really feel it when you enter the arena. At home he is lazy. I am so lucky to have a horse like this.
