Rolf gave it all down to the last fence in the Grand Prix, but unfortunately the fence fell. Photo by Jenny Abrahamsson.

Marcus on the course and his winning round;“I got to see a couple of riders in the jump-off. I had a good start from fence number one. Then I was lucky with the plank. It was a faire course, but tomorrow we expect a little bit more. In the beginning there were a lot of clears, but in the ending it was perfect with a total of eight clears.”

Edwina on her horse Titus; “It was only my fourth show with my horse. It was not the plan to jump him in the Grand Prix, but Vleut got a small cut. It was a great jump-off, but not that technical.”

Rolf-Göran Bengtsson on his round and taking down the last fence: “I didn’t come too well in to the jump-off. I did not get a good turn to the combination and almost had the second fence down. I took a huge risk towards the last fence. If I had taken him back I would never have made the time and would end up as number two or three at best. But you can’t get a horse to get a jumping curve in that speed, that far away from the fence.”

Rolf on the question whether Ninja La Silla took down the last fence because of the cheering from the audience; “ In that speed I don’t think he could think about the noice. He was probably more like; what is that crazy person on top of me doing?”
