"I had luck in the second round, so it was just to give it all in the jump-off. I had nothing to lose," said a happy Penelope Leprevost after her win.
On the question about the Olympics Penelope answered: "Before the Olympics I had little time to concentrate on other shows as I was in the middle of the preparation for the Games, and then unfortunately it didn't go as well as planned there."
Penelope also added on Vienna: "It is amazing to ride here. It is a fantastic crowd, and the location is super."
Meredith Michaels-Beerbaums said; "There will never be another Shutterfly, but I am absolutely delighted to have Bella Donna. She is a fantastic mare and she is improving with every round. I am very pleased to have her, and I am so happy with the result today. Bella Donna is an amazing horse and she is really a horse for the future."
On the question about the show in Vienna Meredith said;"I will always remember this beautiful place and how it is to ride in front of this beautiful building. But the most memorable thing for me was to visit the zoo with my two year old daughter."
"London is in a super form and had a fantastic season. He didn't do a lot of shows, but on every show he did fantastic. Today London did three great rounds. And I must say that the organizer of this show has done a fantastic job and that even though it is the first show they have here," said Gerco Schröder.
Jan Tops explained a little about the standing in front of the final in Doha: "It is very exciting as we have two riders in top position in front of the final and everything can happen. Four riders have the chance to win and it has never been so close in front of a final before."
