In the Sprehe Gold Cup, Wout-Jan van der Schans won the gold – riding Sacramento (Leendert x Corlando). This is not the first time this pair has picked up the glitter in Munich, as they also won this class in 2011. Ferenc Szentirmai was second on Nifrane de Kreisker (Carnute x Papillon Rouge) – with 0.48 seconds separating the two in the jump-off. Third was Henrik von Eckermann on the only 7 year old Cornet Obolensky-son Crespo PKZ – also he clear in the jump-off, but almost 1,5 seconds behind Wout-Jan.
