Three Grand Prix qualifiers have taken place at the CSI3* event Jumping Parma this weekend. The first one – a 1.45 competition against the clock – sponsored by KEP Italia went to Switzerland's Jane Richard Philips riding Zekina Z (Zandor Z x Carthago Z). Richard Philips was no less than five seconds faster than runner-up Vincent Voorn on Quinlan (Quidam's Rubin x Acrobat), while home rider Massimo Grossato followed in third on Unique d'Hyrencourt (Indian Gold Van Casterhoeve x Elanville).
The second qualifier – a 1.50 class with a jump-off – sponsored by Selleria Gianetti, was won by home rider Alberto Rioldi on Loro Piana Loreena 3 (Leandro x Lamerto). The Italian rider was two seconds faster in the jump-off than runner-up Marc Houtzager on Baccarat (Padinus x Silvio I), while Vincent Voorn again was in the top three on Quinlan ending third.
The third qualifier – a 1.45/1.50 class with a jump-off – sponsored by Class Horse TV, saw Ukraine's Katharina Offel on top riding Air Chin Z (Air Jordan Z x Chin Chin). Offel produced a jump-off that was well over a second faster than that of runner-up Fabio Crotta on Manhattan (Maloubet De Pleville x Turban Rose). Third place went to home rider Daniele Augusto Da Rios on Baedeker.
