Rik Hemeryck and his former top ride Quarco de Kerambars have been reunited – at least for the time being. The Belgian rider and the 13 year old by Darco x Skippy II made their comeback at the CSI3* in Bethune two weeks ago. Grandprix-replay.com writes that the reason behind the re is that Carine Gagliani, Quarco’s current rider, has injured her knee. Thus, the horse is back with Rik – who was parted from his former super star in September last year. Rik and Quarco had great success together; in 2011 they won the Grand Prix at the Sauté Hermes in Paris and they were third in the World Cup qualifier in Mechelen.
