Rolf still rank one on the Rolex Ranking

Thursday, 09 August 2012

Rolf is still number one in the world! Photo by Jenny Abrahamsson.Rolf-Göran Bengtsson was hugely disappointed yesterday when he had to withdraw from the final in London, but he might feel better today as he is still ranked as number one in the world! This is the 8th month in a row that the Swedish rider tops the world ranking. From rank two to ten there are changes; Nick Skelton has jumped from rank five to two, while Steve Guerdat is up from eight to three. Pius Schwizer is down one rank from three to four, while Christian Ahlmann has made a huge jump from rank 16 to rank five! Kevin is down from rank two to six, while Marcus Ehning stays at rank seven. Eric Lamaze is down from three to eight. Beezie Madden is another rider that has climbed; from 13 to nine pushing Edwina Tops-Alexander out – while Marco Kutscher has fallen from six to ten, a rank previously held by Ludger Beerbaum.

Outside the Top Ten Gerco Schröder has jumped from rank 26 to 15, Laura Kraut from rank 25 to 18 Philipp Weishaupt from 32 to 19 and Marc Houtzager from 35 to 20. The ranking includes results from 1.8.2011-31.7.2012.
