It was Philippe Rozier who took home the first class of the day in Gothenburg on Friday morning. Aboard his long time French bred partner Ideal de Roy (Quidam de Revel x Grand Veneur) Rozier set off in a high pace, chose the shortest possible route around the 12 fence track and crossed the finish line 1.05 seconds faster than the then current leader Douglas Lindelöw.
The class was a table C, and the track was built in such a way that the riders could choose between two different b-elements in the two combinations at 4a and b and 5a and b; one choice was faster than the other.
Another rider that chose the shortest route was Finnish rider Nina Fagerström who has had an amazing show so far; today she was clear again on Mouse and fast as always – just 0.08 second kept her away from yet another win, but it was good enough for second. Douglas Lindelöw pleased the home crowds and ended third on Balahe (Baloubet du Rouet x Flamingo),
