Today's weather put San Patrignano's amazing grass arena to the test, and it passed with flying colors. After a downpour which caused the second class of the day, a winning round called Tamoil, to be postponed for thirty minutes, riders trickled onto the field between thundershowers. A total of thirty seven horse and riders from ten teams braved the elements, and it turned out that a rider from a rain soaked nation came out on top. England's Laura Renwick rode the second round in 35.38" on Roller Coaster III, beating out Emanuele Gaudiano on Chicago 84 (35.92") and Canadian Eric Lamaze on Coriana van Klapscheut with 37.52".
