Santiago Lambre makes it a Mexican win in Oliva Nova

Photo by Jenny Abrahamsson.Santiago Lambre and Stephex Stables' Wasabi (Chronic Jmen x Polydor) won Friday's 1,45 class at the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour in Oliva Nova, Spain. It was a big class with 67 riders, and out of them as many as 43 made it to the second phase. Santiago was 1,5 seconds faster in the second time around thanrunner-up Vladimir Tuganov with Mats' up du Plessis (Verdi x Jalisco B).

Third place went to the young Irish talent Bertram Allen on Molly Malone (Kannan x Cavalier). Fourth was Lucia Vizzini and Loro Piana Quinta Roo (Quattro B x Cordal Medoc) and fifth place went to Philippe Le Jeune with the Pappilon Rouge-stallion Once de Kreisker.

At the Atlantic Tour, Chloe Ashton won the biggest class for Great Britain. The win came aboard Kolibri Classic (Kolibri As x For Joy). Ashton left Alain Bourdon behind her in second, and Jerome Guery in third.

The GP Tour D at the Sunshine Tour went to German rider Andreas Brenner riding Showman 11 and Laura Renwick on Roller Coaster. In this class also 2nd-12th was shared between the riders.
