Schwizer and Breen on top at the Stuttgart German Masters

Pius Schwizer won the Preis der Firma Walter Solar at the Stuttgart German Masters. Photo (c) Stuttgart German Masters.Pius Schwizer won Thursday's biggest class at the Stuttgart German Masters. The speed class Preis der Firma Walter Solar was the first of two qualifications for the Mercedes German Masters, and faults were converted into additional time. On the twelve year old gelding Armani The Gun CH (Abanos x Ramiro Z), the Swiss rider posted a time of 62.64 seconds.

In runner-up position and not far behind followed Marco Kutscher on Cornet's Cristallo (Cornet Obolensky x Pilot) in a time of 62.89 seconds. Third went to Ireland's Bertram Allen on Belmonde (Ovidius x Kenwood), who finished in 64.03 seconds.

The 1.45 speed class Preis der Bardusch Textil Mietdienste GmbH & Co. KG was won by Shane Breen. Riding Calido Boy (Calido Ass x Alcatraz) to a clear round in 59.39 seconds, the Irish rider was over a second faster than Julien Epaillard on Pigmalion du Rozel (Le Tot de Semilly). Third went to Laura Kraut on Wotsamillion (Captain Clover x Atlantic Boy).
