Scott Brash and Hello Annie took the win in the Trofeo Repsol in Madrid on Saturday. Photo by World of Showjumping.The world's number one rider Scott Brash won the Trofeo Repsol at the Longines Global Champions Tour in Madrid on Saturday riding Hello Annie (Contender x For Pleasure). Entering the ring halfway in this 1.45 two phase class, the British rider set up the speed to the maximum in the second phase and getting a great inside turn to the penultimate vertical he took the lead on a time of 28.82 seconds pushing Luca Maria Moneta to runner-up position aboard Jesus de la Commune (Diamant de Semilly Sf x Rocky du Carel) with a time of 29.25.

None of the remaining riders could catch the two, and in the end it was Emanuele Gaudiano that came closest on Caesario 6 (Cornet Obolensky x Pilot) with a round that stopped the clock on 29.58 seconds.
