Scott Brash takes over the lead of the World Cup in the Western European league

Photo by Jenny Abrahamsson.Scott Brash and Steve Guerdat can now feel pretty sure that they are qualified for the FEI World Cup Final in Lyon in the end of April. After collecting 52 and 51 points respectively in the Longines FEI World Cup Western European League, Brash and Guerdat should be able to book their flight to France.

The winner of the World Cup in London, Maikel van der Vleuten, takes over rank three with 40 points. Tim Gredley - who has collected his points in the US and Canada - is rank four with 36 points, as is Marcus Ehning in fifth position. Then follows Edwina Tops-Alexander with 35 points. Francois Mathy has 34 points while Luciana Diniz has 32. Hans-Dieter Dreher is on rank nine with 26 points and Patrice Delaveau has 23 points and is thus rank ten.

This was the fifth leg of the Longines FEI World Cup Wester European League. Five more legs remain - Mechelen, Leipzig, Zürich, Bordeaux and Gothenburg.
