Sunday, 20 July 2014

Shane Breen and Calido Boy. Photo by Jenny Abrahamsson.Ireland's Shane Breen took an early lead in the 1.45 speed class SAP-Preis in Aachen on Sunday morning, and nobody that followed could catch up with him. Riding Calido Boy (Calido Ass x Alcatraz) to a time of 65.65 seconds, Breen was unbeatable in the class that counted a little over thirty riders. Yesterday's winning pair of Emanuele Gaudiano and Caesario 6 (Cornet Obolensky x Pilot) ended as runners-up in a time of 66.34, and then another second behind came Canada's Ben Aselin who ended third on Makavoy (Hors La Loi Ii x Ahorn).
