Shane Sweetnam's guest blog part two

Saturday, 27 October 2012

Shane Sweetnam is this weekends guest blogger at WoSJ. Shane is from Ireland, but is based in the US where he lives together with his wife and children. The 2012/2013 World Cup season has started in the US as well, and this weekend the series has moved to Washington International Horse Show. As our guest blog section is experiencing some technical problems at the moment, you find Shane's guest blog under read more;

 Hi all again,

Washington has been very fun and exciting show. They have had big crowds every night so far, which always gives a good atmosphere for all. On Thursday night we had the gamblers choice( we all had to wear costumes). This was alot of fun for the riders and the crowd. I ended up third with the cruising mare Solerina. Reed Kessler won it with Ligist. The other big class that day was a jump off class and Brianne Goutal and her old friend Onira won it in classy style. Friday we had three good classes Nick Dello Joio won the first(3rd again with solerina,close though), Lauren Hough won the ranking 1.50 with Ohlala and the crowd pleaser puissance was one in great fashion by Oliver Philipparets.

All we have left is the Presidents cup tonight.So hoping for a good result with Siri.
Cheers
shane
