Skelton and Sprunger win in Aachen

Photo by Jenny Abrahamsson.Nick Skelton won the Warsteiner Preis in Aachen with his fantastic Big Star (Quick Star x Nimmerdor) after a really fast jump-off in 49.77 seconds. Christian Ahlmann and Taloubet Z (Galoubet A x Polydor) took the second place before Janika Sprunger and Palloubet D Halong (Baloubet du Rouet x Muguet du Manoir). Twelve riders out of 55 cleared the difficult first round and the audience got to see a fast and exciting jump-off.

The second class in Aachen had the first round before lunch and the winning round this afternoon. Janika Sprunger took home the win with JL´s Komparse (Kolibri x Kronenkranich xx) after being more than a second faster than Lauren Hough with Blue Angel (Luidam x Ascendant). Third place went to Belgium and Ludo Philippaerts aboard Quintender (Quinar x Contender).
