Staut takes the biggest win in La Coruña, while Renwick makes it a double

Kevin Staut and Silvana HDC took home the biggest win in La Coruna on Saturday. Photo by Oxer Sport. Kevin Staut won Saturday’s 1.50 class in La Coruña aboard Silvana HDC (by Corland). Riding his super star mare to two double clear rounds, and a time of 47.36 seconds in the jump-off – Kevin could collect the top prize of 19.470 Euro in the NH Hotels Trophy. Runner-up was Italian rider Emanuele Gaudiano on Admara 2 (by Padinus) with a time of 47.93 seconds. Home rider Sergio Alvarez Moya was third on Carlo 273 (by Contender), crossing the finish line on a time of 48.69 seconds.

Laura Renwick made it a double, when she won the first class of the day aboard Beluga (by Heartbreaker) and then continued with winning the second class on Oz de Breve (by Dollar du Murier). The British rider’s first win came in the 1.35 speed class, where Laura was clear and had the best time at 54.31 seconds. Czech rider Emma Aguier de Moussac on Canezaro ended second with a time of 59.20 seconds and Spanish rider Gonzalo Añón Suarez aboard Andor (by Lux) third at a time of 59.30 seconds.

In the La Caixa Trophy – a 1.45 class – Laura beat Daniel Deusser on Stephex Stables’ Norlan des Etisses (by Quidam de Revel) who was just fractions behind her, only 0,15 seconds separated the two. Third was Roger- Yves Bost riding Combo van den Blauwaert (by Nabab de Reve) to a time of 64.33 seconds.
