Stretching their legs

Tuesday, 28 September 2010

They are all quite happy to finally be allowed to stretch their legs after the long flight over here, and then the two days in quarantine.

Here you’ll see the silver medalist from the Olympics in Beijing Rolf-Göran Bengtsson’s Ninja La Silla out and about (right) and another Swedish horse; Helena Lundbäck’s Erbblume (left). Lundbäck came fourth in the WEG top four final back in Jerez in 2002 with Mynta.

Out stretching his legs is also Daniel Etter’s horse Peu a Peu, member of the winning team at the Europeans at Windsor last year.

Edwina Alexander is one of the few riders that are already in Lexington, and she rode Cevo Itot du Chateau for a bit on Tuesday. Alexander has also been part of the WEG top four in the past, she rode Pialotta to fourth place at WEG in Aachen in 2006.
