Tim Riesekamp-Goedeking and Quartz proved to be best in the Grand Prix in Gera today. Here seen on their way to victory in Rulle last year. Photo by Jenny Abrahamsson.The 1.55 Gran Premio Ascona went to the Italian rider Fabio Brotto riding R-Gitana (Looping x Grandeur) who coul take home a new car after his win. The class had consisted og two rounds, but only the thirteen best riders went on to the second round. Brotto and runner-up Nicola Fitzgibbon from Ireland were the only two riders that produced two clear rounds, while Julien Gonin from France secured third place with one time fault in the first round.

At the Gera Summer Meeting in Germany, Tim Rieskamp-Goedeking and Quartz (Quality Touch x Zandigo) was the best combination in the  Grosser Preis der Deutschen Kreditbank AB. Rieskamp-Goedeking secured his top position ahead of Michael Kölz in second and Thomas Kleis in third.

In Bratislava another German rider took the win - Thorsten Wittenberg. Wittenberg was riding Connaught (by Cassini I) and the combination was 1.nearly two seconds faster than number two. Dieter Köfler and Glock’s Prince de Vaux representing Austria. Number three in the class was also German, Jan Wernke who competed with the Contendro-mare Queen Mary.
