Saturday's two first five star classes at the Gucci Paris Masters went to Swiss riders; Steve Guerdat and Martin Fuchs. Guerdat won the 1.45 Prix Le Figaro aboard Albfuehren's Memphis (Quinar x Carthago), a second ahead of home rider Laurent Goffinet on Qantar des Etisses (Quick Star). In third followed Gerco Schröder on Glock's Prince de Vaux (Flipper D' Elle x Super De Bourriere).
The 1.50 Prix Salon du Cheval was won by Martin Fuchs on Picsou du Chene (Le Tot de Semilly x Caloubet du Bois). Six riders went double clear, but Fuchs was the fastest one of all with his time of 31.87 in the jump-off. In second followed the runners-up from yesterday's Longines Speed Challenge; Christian Ahlmann and Aragon Z (Askari x Kolibri) with a time of 32.14 seconds against the clock. Third was Maikel van der Vleuten on VDL Groep Eureka (Chin Chin x Quidam de Revel).
