Friday, 30 December 2011

Talan will in the future compete for Saudi Arabia. Photo by Jenny Abrahamsson.According to studforlife.com the KWPN stallion Talan (Concorde x Burgfraaf) is leaving Robert Smith’s stable, and will in the future compete for Saudi Arabia. On Twitter Saudi Equestrian writes that HH Prince Faisal is the new rider of the stallion. Talan has been successful under Smith, and together they were at the British team at the WEG in Kentucky in 2010. They were also on Britain’s winning Nations Cup team in Dublin this summer, second in the Kings George V Gold Cup and won the Grand Prix in Ascona to mention some. Olympic hopes are not over for Smith though who has the promising ten year old Ude (Nairobi x Goeverneur), that he has high hopes for.
