Yesterday it was announced that Roger Yves Bost's super partner Castle Forbes Myrtille Paulois (Dollar du Murier x Grand Veneur) will be retired from the sport. Castle Forbes Myrtille Paulois has had a very successful career, first under Jessica Kürten and from 2011 under Roger Yves Bost. The highlight of her career was the individual gold medal she won with Bosty at the European Championships in Herning last year. Myrtille Paulois had numerous international wins, and was one of the fastest horses on the circuit. In 2012 she recorded three huge wins with her French rider; in the CSI5* World Cup in Helsinki, the CSI5* Equita Masters in Lyon and in the CSI5* Grand Prix in Basel. This year she was on the winning French Nations Cup team in Rotterdam. Now she has done her job, and we wish Myrtille a very happy retirement and hope to see her babies on top of the sport in the future. Here's a photo tribute to one of the world's best horses.
